MODESTO, CA (January, 2016) Make-A-Wish® Northeastern California and Northern Nevada is hosting the 16th Annual Wishmaker’s Ball, Saturday, January 30 at the Double Tree Inn Modesto, 1150 9th Street. The event will be held from 5:30 – 10:30 p.m. and features dinner, dancing, raffles as well as Black Tie Bingo.

Make-A-Wish is hoping to raise enough funds from the event to grant seven wishes to children in the greater Modesto area with life-threatening medical conditions. The average cash cost of a wish is $7,500.

“This event has been greatly supported by the Modesto community,” said Make-A-Wish CEO Jennifer Stolo, “the guests enjoy a delicious dinner, fun and fast moving Bingo games, are able to bid on fantastic silent auction items as well as a chance to win a few amazing raffle items – all while hearing about how wishes change the lives of local children. There’s also a couple of surprise elements for the guests, including letting a child know live that their wish is being granted!”

Key sponsors of the event include, Doctor’s Medical Center, AllCare, Kaiser Permanente, and Sutter Gould Medical Foundation and Memorial Medical Center. Tickets are $150 and can be purchased by visiting necannv.wish.org.
