The 29th Annual Edible Extravaganza, the big fundraiser for Center for Human Services, was a smashing success!
Over 25 food & beverage vendors were sampling their best and newest flavors on eager patrons of CHS. The amazing cover band Strange Brew got people up and out of their chairs onto the dance floor with their renditions of beloved popular songs.
If you liked pasta, sushi or pizza, you were covered. Fresh fruit and veggies? Yup. Beer, wine and spirits? Oh yeah!
Edible Extravaganza introduces you to a variety of what our beautiful Central Valley has to offer from catering, dining, parties big or small, to making cocktails at home. And all while benefiting a great community cause, providing help to many Stanislaus County families through CHS’s services. The Center celebrated their 45th year serving our community this year, and Edible is the fundraiser that they count on to bring in funds to keep helping families.
There is a great need to provide counseling and other mental health treatment, housing, leadership training and all kinds of assistance to our residents. When a parent is having a hard time with a teenager, or a loved one is seeking drug counseling resources for a relative, or launching a foster youth into adulthood with life skills, the Center for Human Services is the place to go.
If you missed Edible, don’t be sad. It will back in 2016, and with every year it gets bigger and better! We invite you out to the Modesto Centre Plaza for a night of fun in advance!
