The Funstrummers Ukulele Band is hosting their fifth annual May Day Play Day on May 16th at 10am-4pm.
Guest Instructors for morning workshops include:
~Michelle Kiba of the Pa Mele ‘O Hokulea ‘Ukulele Academy teaching swing music
~Dan Scanlan (CoolhandUke) from Auburn teaching Chord Melody techniques
~Stuart Herriod from the Roseville Strum Shop teaching Strum techniques
In the afternoon bands from various places will be playing:
Delta Strummers of Discovery Bay, Woodbridge Strumming Wonders, Roseville River City Ukulele Orchestra, the Michelle Kiba Band and the Funstrummers Ukulele Band.
The day includes a potluck lunch of submarine sandwiches and salads.
$30 includes a songbook & lunch
This annual event is a hit with ukulele players from the foothills to the bay area and usually draws about 100 players. May Day Flyer
