California Dreamin’ by The Mama’s & The Papas as well as We’re Gonna be Friends by White Stripes have been on constant repeat for me this fall. It is also Scorpio season! Scorpios are best known for their passion and their love for longtime friends. And what is more appropriate as we near Thanksgiving? Give your friends a call and maybe you will get the chance to see some of the amazing events going on at the State Theater such as a Pink Floyd tribute show on November 17th or a Frozen sing-a-long on November 24th. Or maybe get a cup of coffee at The Queen Bean or Deva cafe. Speaking of, Modesto has a tremendous music scene and both of these places have lots of opportunities to check it out, such as live local bands and open mic nights. Another exciting event that is happening this month is the opening of Modesto on Ice! Only $12 for ages 3-12 and $15 for ages 13 and up for each session. This is my all time favorite part of this holiday season. There is nothing I love more than spending time at the rink, surrounded by all my friends. It truly is the most wonderful time of year.
