Happy October, Modesto! It is officially my favorite month.
I could go on and on about how beautiful Modesto is in the fall. The air is finally getting a little colder and crisp. Are you ready for the fall season? I know I am! With the arrival of October, Modesto offers a diverse range of opportunities to embrace the spirit of the season. From pumpkin patches to haunted houses, Modesto has something for everyone looking to celebrate fall.
No October is complete without a visit to a local pumpkin patch, and Modesto offers some of the best. Dutch Hollow Farms beckons with rows of vibrant orange pumpkins perfect for decorating. Families can enjoy hayrides, corn mazes, and festive fall-themed activities. I also enjoy Dell Osso farms. They have an awesome haunted house for when you’re looking for a spooky activity to do with friends. Dell Osso Farms is renowned for its bountiful pumpkin patch. Whether you’re on the hunt for the perfect pumpkin to carve into a spooky jack-o’-lantern or a sweet pumpkin pie for your holiday desserts, this patch has you covered. No visit to Dell Osso Farms is complete without navigating their thrilling corn maze. This labyrinth of maize provides an entertaining challenge for all ages. See if you can find your way out while enjoying the company of friends and family. It’s an experience that promises laughter and memorable moments. Both of these wonderful Pumpkin patches open October 1st so, what are you waiting for? Head on down!
Be sure to vote for this year’s MAMA nominees. It is hosted at our very own State Theater! There will be various performances by some of Modesto’s greatest musicians. I have the privilege of passing out the awards to the talented artists! There is so much time and effort put into this event, so be sure to vote at www.modestoareamusic.com<www.modestoareamusic.com>
I hope you all have a fantastic October, and eat lots of candy! Stay safe, Modesto!
