My favorite time of the year is finally here! I’m excited for the pumpkin seeds, the yellow and orange leaves, the apple picking and everyone’s favorite, Halloween! Fall is a great time of year to spend with your friends and your family!
A great way to spend time together is by going to the corn maze at Funworks. It is a tradition in our family! You are given a map of the maze and you find all the stations and once you found all of them you win a prize! Another fun thing to do with everyone is to go to Dell’ Osso Farms in Lathrup, California. There is a Haunted House, Pumpkin shooters, Pillow Jumping, A petting zoo, a corn maze and so much more! Make sure to check out that place.
It’s Pumpkin Carving season! This year be creative and do a unique pattern! A place where you can get your pumpkin to carve is Dutch Hollow Farms right here in Modesto. Of course, the best part of fall is Halloween! Whether you’re trick-or-treating with friends, going to a party or just hanging out, you want to make it a memorable one. So, of course you’ll want an amazing costume!
Day Dreams and Nightmares is a unique costume shop on Carpenter Road where you can rent your favorite costume and have a blast! Decorating the house puts me in the Halloween spirit and I like homemade decorations best.
An easy decoration you can make at home is a miniature ghost. Place a few cotton balls in the center of a paper towel and twist the paper towel under cotton to form a head shape. Draw a face on the top and tie it with a string! Use a lollypop instead of cotton balls if you want to hand out a spooky treat! Have a great Halloween!
