Meet our Art Walk Mascot. Art is in downtown to help you locate some of the best local galleries, art, restaurants that are the culture of downtown Modesto. The 2017 3rd Thursday Artwalk is fresh and new with great things happening to bring more people to experience downtown Modesto. You will see more sampling, snacking, street art, drink specials, happy hours and excellent art exhibits by our talented area artists. Look for works by Jim Christiansen, Linda Knoll, Nicole Slater, Jordi Camps, Jennifer Williams and so many more. You will even find cool street painting competitions and heck, you might even get roped in to finger paint. Be on the lookout for strolling musicians and live music sponsored by ModestoView and the Modesto Area Music Association and Patty Castillo Davis.
Look for singer songwriter Dale Huff at the April Artwalk on April 20 and make sure you stop by places like the Chartreuse Muse, Peer Gallery at ModSpot, Mistlin Gallery, Downtown Tinker Tank, Carolyn Huff Gallery, Art Time & Sip Wine, Doubletree, Sanddude, Tresetti’s, Barkin’ Dog, Sam and Dave’s Market and so many more.
