You can tell a lot about a person by their shoes. So it’s no brainer that men would want to walk a mile in a woman’s shoes. The Haven’s Annual Walk a Mile in her Shoes event returns April 28th. Men throughout the Modesto area come together to raise awareness about secual assault and domestic violence against women by walking a mile in women’s high heeled shoes. It’s not easy to walk in someone’s shoes but this is a great cause to support the women in our community. Information: 209-524-4331.

Enjoy April!
