The State Theatre Battle of the Bands first round to determine which 8 of the 57 bands that submitted videos will perform live on March 13th. 8 bands will perform 2 songs for a chance to win a share of the $4000 combined prize money. In this first round, fans are encouraged to vote for their favorites by clicking Like on the video submitted. The top 5 along with 3 picked by a panel of judges will go on to round 2, the live performance. Sunday, March 13th 8 bands will compete head to head performing the original from the video they submitted and the second song of their choosing(this can be a cover.) Two prizes will be given at the end of the night first prize of $2500 determined by the panel of judges and $1500 determined by the crowd.
