Save a life in 2015

January 1st is the start of a new and the best way to start the New Year would be to keep on giving like they way we’ve been doing throughout this Holy Season. Please consider giving something much more this January 2015 than a monetery gift, the gift of life.

There are many ways you archive this, you can donate blood, become an organ donor, bone marrow donor or another one of my personal favorites; save the life of one our four legged friends at your local pet shelter. It’s very easy and affordable to do, every year thousands of our loving pets get put down because of over pet population. Please consider sponsoring or better yet if you can, adopting a shelter pet into your family. You will find that doing so will fill your heart with love for many years and the loneliness that may have once been in your life will cease to exists. Please share a little bit of yourself with one of Gods creatures in 2015 and experience the true feeling of what unconditional love really feels like through a pet.

If you have already adopted a cat or dog for Christmas, God bless you and please remember, a dog or a cat is not just for Christmas, it’s for life. Please be kind to animals and each other and please spay and neuter your pets. Happy New Year!
Efren J Martinez

On 1/4/2015 The Escalon animal shelter will be hosting a spay and neuter event between 8AM-11AM.
You do not have to be a resident of Escalon to take advantage of this offer.
