Blue Monday party goes on twice a month!

Well, things are heating up, and summer is on the move. The farmers’ market is in full swing and we are getting back to some normalcy once again. Happy to be playing the Funraiser for Prospect Theatre Sunday, June 5th at 5 PM. Tickets are 85 dollars and go to a great cause. The Blue Monday Band will be playing with Andrew Rosenblum on guitar and Sax, John Burt on Sax, Ian Wilson on Sax, Dave Hawks on Drums, Conrad Johnson on Bass and vocals, and Terie Londie on vocals and Eric Benson on Keyboard.

We are now going to the Blue Monday Party Café Urbano twice a month. The band is smokin’ with special guest artists each Monday with great food and a full bar available. Cafe Urbano has DJ events with Taco Tuesdays, Thursday through Sunday, with dance instruction with Salsa, Cumbia and other Latin idioms. Blue Monday Party Jam Monday, June 13th and 27th.. The Band features John Adey & Conrad Johnson Bass, Dave Hawks Drums, Andrew Rosenblum & John Burt Sax, Johnny Valdes guitar and vocals and Eric Benson Keys. We play jazz, funk, Latin and the Blues. The jam goes from 7-10 PM with music for listening and dancing!        

Some great shows at Gallo Center but also check some great venues out of town:  Yoshi’s Oakland’s best jazz shows, Khumba Music Center Santa Cruz and Piedmont Piano company and the Sound Room located in Oakland.

We are on the rebound from the global pandemic post-apocalyptic party so be a good human and get your soul vaccination at the vaccination station and stay boosted. Until our paths cross again, peace out!
