Hello everyone. I honestly think this is going to be my best month for the whole year. Let me tell you about it. We, FEarlisha Presents have partnered with Peer Recovery Art Project and Ava Grace Music to put on a big show at the State Theater in Modesto with headliner Chris Cain. Chris Cain has released a dozen albums and is considered to be one of the best blues guitar players alive. He has shared the stage with Albert King and Albert Collins and on the 24th of August, he is coming to Modesto with openers Gravel and Grace and Big Earl and the Cryin’ Shame. You don’t want to miss this one.

I have a few other cool suggestions for you to check out this month. On the 3rd the Soul Food Festival in Stockton will host Modesto own Gloria T & Innervision. They are an excellent new addition to our local blues scene. BluesBox Bayou Band is going up to Black Oak Casino on the 8th and on the 9th they are hosting Briefcase Blues Brothers Review.

Aug 10th you have a couple of cool options, you can catch Ava Grace Duo at the Oakdale Lobster Fest or you can head up to Lodi to check out Jeramy Norris and the Dangerous Mood at 5 Windows Beer Company. Modstock is also back this month at the Mancini Bowl with tons of local acts including My newest act Gravel & Grace on the 11th. That same day at the Fruit Yard you can catch Jimmy Vaughn, Buddy Guy and Charlie Musselwhite.

If you came out to the fundraiser we did at Ralston’s Goat in May you had the pleasure of seeing The Galvan’s in action. This is official notice that they will be back on the 30th of August at Ralston’s Goat. I’m planning on being there and I hope to see a lot of friends out supporting this fantastic band. Have a great month and I hope to see you out at a show.
