http://bgcstan.org This will be the third haunted house sponsored by the Boys & Girls Clubs of Stanislaus County and the second being held in the McHenry Museum. Last year’s Haunted Museum attracted about 2,000 visitors. The Boys & Girls Clubs of Stanislaus County, organized in 2012, began after-school programs at Sylvan and C.F. Brown Elementary Schools in the Sylvan Union School District in north Modesto in summer 2013 and recently opened a third site at Somerset Middle School. The mission of the clubs is to enable all young people to reach their full potential as productive, caring, responsible citizens. Club membership is only $10 per year. Fund-raisers, such as the Haunted Museum, help make the organization accessible to all.
