BreakfastView – Fun Flying Breakfast

By Chris Murphy

Did you know that you can check out vintage airplanes and get the best airport breakfast in the valley? Yes, thanks to the local wing of the Commemorative Air Force, every 2nd Saturday, you can enjoy a full breakfast of pancakes, eggs, bacon, sausage and biscuits surrounded by vintage aircraft. Each month, many special planes fly in to be showcased for this event and if you have kids, this is a winning thing to do as there is good easy food and a lot to look at. Last month, my grandson got a nice tour of vintage air ambulances, biplanes and even a P40. Plan on checking out the next breakfast on October 12 from 7:30 am – 11 am. They also have a 4th Saturday lunch with burgers and Dogs. Hanger is on Tioga Rd at the west end of the Modesto Airport

$10 and kids 5 and under Free.
