The Mistlin Gallery hosts a free presentation by Jack McBride featuring his new book,California’s East Side at the CCAA members meeting, Monday, October 14 at 6:30 p.m. The slide lecture covers Highway 395 and the eastern slope of Sierra Nevada range. He will also discuss composition and light in photography and landscape art. The prize for a free raffle is a copy of his 42 page book.

Central California Art Association is a non-profit organization dedicated to supporting the visual arts, art education and providing cultural opportunities for the community. The Mistlin Gallery is at 1015 J Street, Modesto, 209-529-3369. Gallery hours are Tuesday-Friday, 11:30 to 5:00 p.m. and Saturday 12-4 p.m.
