Celebrate the legacy of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr and honor our quest for true equality and civil rights.
February 17 at 11:30 am, enjoy the MLK Celebration Luncheon at the King Kennedy Center. The theme is “Unwise & Untimely” with speaker LaKiesha McDonald. Lunch is a $20 donation and please RSVP to 209-568-3643
On January 20, 10 am, join the Celebration of MLK at the Christian Love Baptist Church at 202 H Street.
Then at 1 pm, meet up for the 3rd Annual MLK Unity March hosted by Silver Square Lodge #66. It’s more than just a march; it’s a powerful expression of unity and a chance to honor a true hero. January 20, join Modesto roller skaters and skateboarders to support the vision of equality of Martin Luther King Jr. Departing at 1 pm from the King Kennedy center and rolling along with the march to Modesto Center Plaza.
