Light Up your Tastes Buds With Firecracker !
One of our favorite places to hang out in Downtown Modesto is Fuzio. Fuzio has been a part of 10th St Plaza since it opened and Fuzio is the total dependable place with great cocktails, awesome patio and delicious food with offerings for everyone. You feel like you are in the middle of the action, with dual patios, and windows on downtown. I love it. And since this is July and we are celebrating the 4th, a Firecracker is in order.
Thomas and Lopes are those kind of owners that are there, watching what happens, serving, cooking, listening and learning about what their guests like. And you know what? Their guest love Firecracker! Yes, this taste lights up the plate and your palate. Over the years, they have expanded their Firecracker offerings beyond the original Firecracker Pork Fusilli to now include Lettuce Wraps, Pork Sliders, Chicken, Steak and now Tacos. Super spicy yummy. Chef Justin Seward teased the ViewCrew with amazing samples. The pork is blended with sautéed onions, the Firecracker marinade is added, boiled and then roasted in the oven for another two hours. This is so delicious.
Firecracker is Fuzios special secret spicy sweet Habanero Pepper sauce that is just the right amount of Fire and the right amount of smooth and sweet. Once you try it, you will be hooked and that’s why there are so any Firecraker options on the menu.
The ViewCrew has been a fan of the Firecracker Pork Fusilli for years and new this summer, we tasted the Tacos and loved it. We have been trying to coax the Firecracker recipe from Thomas and his crew, but no way, the only way you will get it is at Fuzio. Just what are these delicious things?
While we were begging for a Firecracker dessert and firecracker cocktail, Gina served up her special Firecracker Bloody Mary. WOW! My lips had an awesome little burn after this meal and can’t wait to go back and for some more spicy sweet experiences. Can’t wait to see what they think up next.

We are not going to give away the exact details, but we coaxed these amazing tastes in Fuzio Firecracker Spread and marinade from Chef Justin:
Cilantro, Green Onions Jalapenos, Habaneros, Sugar, Soy Sauce, Pineapple, Garlic.
Yum, you can’t go wrong with this.
