Oh Sweeeet Christmas!
Dear Santa,
I can explain!!! I didn’t invent that fine line that defines naughty and nice, right? Lol! When it comes to our sweet spots we all have a weak spot, or ten. 10 flavors that is, of decadent bundt cakes showed up in Modesto about 4 months ago at Nothing Bundt Cakes. This year upon my Christmas wish list you will find many of my personal favorite flavors in order as follows: Carrot, pecan praline, lemon, white chocolate raspberry, chocolate chocolate chip, red velvet, marble, cinnamon swirl, pumpkin spice, and in December the featured flavor of the month is chocolate peppermint made with Ande’s candies. Ok, now that I have tapped into many of your “nice” taste senses, fathom their signature frosting made primarily of butter and cream cheese! Oh Santa Baby you are going to love it. Totally Dana~licious!
These amazing cakes come in 4 sizes: 8”, 10”, bundtlet, and bundtinis. You can also buy them according to theme or occasion; or as a tower gift or a dessert spectacular to dazzle your guests.
Modesto’s Nothing Bundt Cakes is a franchise owned by Sharon and Jim Toal, Modesto residents for 25+ years. Wendy Stuart, operating partner is a Ripon resident and a golf professional, as is Jim. Wendy was gracious to show me around the vast variety of specialty items sold in the store, told me about her fave flavor is the lemon, as it is so light & refreshing. She told me about the first wedding she did showcasing Nothing Bundt Cakes was for her own sister’s wedding! Aaaah very special.
Wendy’s face lit up when she talked about the store; “We are here to help you be more thoughtful, it’s a great way to enjoy the sweeter things in life.” I get it! As much as I’d love to receive a super moist, yes super moist bundt cake, I’d be grateful to receive a special gift from their store that can last a lifetime; from decorative to functional, adult & children’s aprons, dish towels, corkscrews, greeting cards, coffee mugs, & platters with unique glass “pop-ins” that represent the celebrated moment, so clever. They also have square and round prissy plates that when you simply change the ribbon, it changes the entire look. Love that! Stop by and see so much more.
So, I can hear it already, “Dana! You’re late!!!” Well, I said I’d be there in 5 minutes, I don’t know why you are calling me every half hour. Another reason to love Nothing Bundt Cakes, one stop shop; pick up an apology gift, tasty cake, and a pre-packed set of plates, forks, and cake cutter ready to roll out when you showed up a lil’ late, again. Works like a charm!

The store is welcomed by Modesto as they have 18 employees and Jim sits on the board for CASA and donates to the charity that benefits children.
