“The Congress, the President, and the Power to Make War” featured subject of MJC Constitution Day Observance
(Modesto, CA) –The Modesto Junior College Civic Engagement Project will present a Constitution Day Observance featuring Stephen R. Routh, speaking on “The Congress, the President, and the Power to Make War” on Tuesday, September 17 at 7 p.m. in Forum 102 on East Campus, 435 College Avenue. The event is open to the public and admission is free. Campus parking is available for $1 in student parking lots.
Routh is the chair of the Department of Political Science and Public Administration at California State University, Stanislaus, where he has taught for 11 years about constitutional law, civil liberties, administrative law, judicial process, Congress, the Presidency, and elections.
In addition, he is currently serving as the Interim associate dean of Humanities and Social Sciences at CSUS, and is a visiting professor of Political Science at the University of California, Davis.
