DoMo’s Prohibition Pub Crawl Hosted by DoTheCrawl.com

DoTheCrawl.com took over downtown Modesto on Saturday for a Prohibition Pub Crawl, hosted by St. Stanislaus Brewing Co. Participating bars and restaurants were The Fox Pub, Rancho Fresco, the Bayou Bar & Grill, The Boardroom, Lo-Fi, Blades and Bottles, and Graffiti Dogs.
Each bar had a special cocktail (or two, or three!) with fun names like Mary Pickford, Hemingway, Flapper and of course traditional drinks like Old Fashioned and Gin & Tonic.

When you checked in, you were given a wrist band and a necklace. In order to complete some items on your list, you had to interact with others wearing necklaces. You had three and half hours to complete as many tasks as possible. To collect “points” (cause just like “Who’s Line Is It Anyway?” points are made up and don’t matter) you had to answer questions on Twitter, post photos on Facebook or Instagram, and find items in the bars to bring back to St. Stan’s at the end of the crawl. If your photo was chosen on social media, DoTheCrawl commented that you won that particular task, and prizes were various shot glasses and fancy decks of cards.

Team BrewView (part of the purple wrist band group) consisting of Brandilyn Brown, Christopher Mitchell, Amanda Byers and Brooke Byers won a grand total of 7 prizes and submitted 15 photos/items. The winners of the evening were the purple band group, playing against the orange wrist bands and the pink wrist bands). Way to go everyone!

The Peanut Butter Stout Floats at St. Stan’s were the best snack of the night!

Delicious cocktails from The Fox!

These Old Fashions from Boardroom were perfectly bitter with a touch of orange.

The drinks were delicious and creative, the participants friendly and fun, and if you missed out DoTheCrawl is planning another for Halloween on Oct 12th, check it out here.

Remember to drink responsibly and sip on, friends!
