Economic Summit to Show How County Stacks Up as a Place to Do Business Highly sought-after worldwide site selection expert Dennis J. Donovan of WDG Consulting will headline a list of speakers at an Economic Summit to be held in Modesto on Thursday, October 16. The Economic Summit will take place at the Doubletree Hotel and is presented by BIA Greater Valley, the Modesto Chamber of Commerce, the Stanislaus Business Alliance and the University of the Pacific Eberhardt School of Business. Donovan has been advising corporations on office and industrial facility locations for nearly forty years. He has served Fortune 500 companies and located corporate facilities in every state except Alaska and Hawaii. Donovan explained, “I will cover two major divisions including the latest trends in corporate site selection and a high altitude view of the county’s pluses and minuses as a place to do business.
