This is here because we hope we will be able to have a FlightView article on a regular basis. But we have an urgent call to action. Great Lakes Airlines wants to start Modesto service, but they need locally based pilots and want to know if Modesto is ready to FLY. If you are a tired as I am of driving to SFO to get a real flight, then you need to come out to the Modesto airport on January 19th from 1-3 pm. Please take time to go to the airport, meet the Great Lakes people, pilots and check out the planes that could soon be connecting MOD with the rest of the world like CDG, ORD, IAD, EWR, LHR, BOS and more.
