TNK Vegan Café

One of my favorite buildings in Downtown Modesto has always been on the corner of Needham and 15th Street and though it’s been many businesses since I’ve lived in Modesto, my lunch visit to TNK Vegan Café was the first time I’ve dined in the dream corner spot! I don’t follow a vegan or vegetarian diet, I love cheese too much, however, TNK Vegan Café has created a convenient, delicious, and fun way to try vegan options in town for those who follow all dietary plans.
We ordered potstickers, a coconut pineapple smoothie, one orange chicken rice plate, one “Impossible” burger, sweet potato fries, and a Chocolate Delight cake (all vegan!!) and couldn’t have enjoyed our meal more. The flavors were unique and satisfying and made you feel like you weren’t missing any dairy, egg, or meat alternatives at all. The staff is incredibly helpful and friendly and even gave out delicious, free organic pears for customers to snack on while they waited. Many people came to grab their lunch to go, but for me, sitting on my corner with new treats to explore was the perfect afternoon. TNK Vegan Café will be our new go to place to help focus on plant based meals to help our environment and support local business – we will be back for more!
