You know we love photos of Modesto and the surrounding area. Heck, we even have VIEW in our name. Every year there is a great show presented in February called fotoModesto. This is run by local photographer David Schroeder who also currently runs the Mistlin Gallery. The first event was all about Cuba and recent shows have featured many local photographers including our own MJ Mangano and last year they even introduced poetry. This year, fotoModesto features our good friend and amazingly talented photographer Adrian Mendoza. Adrian was formerly with the Modesto Bee and has captured amazing images, from the air, sea or wherever. This show begins February 4th and 28th. There will be a special session with a talk by Adrian on February 13 at 7 pm at the Mistlin. There are additional exhibits at Picasso featuring David Schroeder and at Deva Café with Central Valley High School and Al Golub at Concetta.
