Free Seniors Walking Program starts February 6


Free Young At Heart Walking Program
For Older Adults Ages 60 & Better

Are you ready for a challenge? Do you need a little more cardiovascular exercise in your life? If you answered yes, then the Young at Heart S.T.E.P.S program has the solution. Young at Heart (YAH) S.T.E.P.S will be starting on Monday, February 6. The Healthy Aging Association, in partnership with Vintage Faire Mall and Central Valley Medical Group, will be implementing the 12 week walking challenge. Register at the Healthy Aging Booth on February 6th from 8:00 – 9:30 AM to join the challenge. Enter the Mall through door #30, JC Penny side by Security.Or you can download the form from our website www.HealtyAgingAssociation.org and email, fax, or mail it in.
Participants can meet at the Vintage Faire Mall or anywhere to track their steps, improve their cardiovascular health, earn rewards, and have fun at no cost. At the end of the 12 week challenge, we will host a breakfast ceremony and reward participants for meeting their goals. Anyone 60 and older can participate. It’s a ‘walk at your own pace’ program. Beginning walkers/novice walkers, and walkers of all speeds can join the challenge.

Healthy Aging Association is a non-profit organization whose mission is to help older Americans live longer, healthier, more independent lives by promoting increased physical activity and sound health and nutrition practices. The older adult fitness class are free for ages 60 and better.
