FREE TAX HELP IN STANISLAUS COUNTY
For taxpayers with low and moderate income tax preparation services will be available for free at various locations from February 3 to April 15, 2014. Those seeking help will need to bring the current year’s tax forms, copy of last year’s tax return, W-2 forms from 2013, unemployment and other compensation statements, Social Security benefit statements and any 1099s. Personal identification such as social security cards or other official documents for the client and all dependents must be presented as well.
Stanislaus County sites will include: · Modesto Senior Citizens Center (211 Bodem Ave.) -Thursdays from 9:30 a.m. – 2:00 p.m. · Kind Kennedy Memorial Center (601 S. Martin Luther King Dr., Modesto) -Mondays from 10:00 a.m.- 2:00 p.m. · Turlock Senior Citizens Center (1199 Cahill) -Wednesdays from 12:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. · Hammon Senior Center (1033 W.Las Palmas Ave., Patterson) -Mondays from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. & Thursdays from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.
