The Salvation Army is the organization that “Does the Most Good” during the holiday season. ModestoView is a huge supporter of the Salvation Army. Why? Over 85% of donated funds go directly the programs that serve the people in need. People that are hungry and cold can get a meal at Salvation Army. You can help jump start the giving season this year by donating to one of the many “bell ringers” for the 2012 Annual Kettle Kick Off. You can attend this even as well to really see the excitement of raising money for a great cause.
On Thanksgiving you can team up with Dan and Denise Costa and the Salvation Army for the Thanks for Giving lunch at Modesto Center Plaza. No one in Modesto should go without a Thanksgiving meal and thanks to the Costas for championing this event for so many years.
