As the summer sun shines upon us, it’s time to embrace the vibrant energy that June brings to our beloved city.. So, without further ado, let’s dive into the June delights awaiting you in Modesto!
It’s officially Concert in the park season! Get ready to groove to the rhythm of live music in the great outdoors! Every Thursday evening throughout June, and some of July, Graceada Park comes alive with the sounds of talented musicians. From blues and rock to soulful jazz, these concerts cater to diverse musical tastes. Bring your lawn chairs, blankets, and a picnic basket filled with tasty treats as you relax under the starry sky. Graceada park just got brand new
seating too! Concert in the park is one of my favorite activities during the summer time, and I always look forward to it! In addition to the delightful concerts, there’s another exciting event happening in Modesto this summer. American Graffiti! The car show itself will take place downtown and along McHenry Avenue, starting at 6 pm. As you wander through the streets, you’ll be treated to a mesmerizing display of classic cars, each one a testament to automotive craftsmanship and history.
From vintage beauties to iconic roadsters, there will be hundreds of awe-inspiring vehicles to admire. To add to the festivities, the MJC West Campus will be hosting a vibrant festival on June 10th and 11th, starting at 9 am. This two-day extravaganza promises an array of exciting activities for
all ages. Explore the various food vendors, offering delectable treats to satisfy your cravings. Discover a diverse range of crafts and artisanal goods, perfect for finding unique souvenirs or gifts. The festival will also feature captivating live performances, showcasing talented artists who will keep you entertained throughout the day. And, of course, cars will take center stage, with an amazing showcase of classic automobiles. The American Graffiti festival and car show, combined with the lively festivities at the MJC West Campus, have become cherished traditions in Modesto. Year after year, locals and visitors alike come together to celebrate the city’s rich cultural heritage and passion for automotive history.
