Top 3 Reasons Why You Should Sign Up For Love Modesto April 18
1) We have such a great city! From our parks, schools, neighborhoods, faith communities, service clubs, businesses, non-profit organizations, families, friends and so many other reasons why we have a great place to live. As great of a city we have though, we can still make it even better!
2) We have challenges like any other city, but let’s not just complain about them or just talk about ideas on how to solve them … together let’s do something about our challenges!
3) We have made it so easy for you to help make our city better! There are over 80 different projects to choose from whether beautifying one of our schools or parks, delivering a carnation to those at a retirement home, painting over graffiti, etc. etc. It does not matter how old or young you are, there is something for everyone. We can each contribute and make a difference!
April 18 Festivities begin at 8am on I & 10th Streets, right in front of the Gallo Center.
* Lots of music, free giveaways including Modesto Nuts tickets for all! “I Love Modesto” t-shirts & “Love Thy Neighbor(hood)” sweatshirts available for purchase.
* Free food and refreshments (SaveMart, Starbucks, Pepsi, Blue Diamond Growers, Del Monte, Buffalo Wild Wings, etc.)
* Free Kid’s Zone featuring face painting, super heroes, bouncies, games, etc.
* Free back massages by Armstrong Chiropractic
* Free family/friend photos by Platinum Photo Booth
* Fire trucks, ambulances, CHP, Sheriff and MPD patrol cars, motor bikes, swat truck, K9 and horses
* And LOTS more!
It’s going to be an incredible family-friendly atmosphere before we all go out to volunteer in 80+ projects!
