Get Your Foo on at Love Ride

Get Your Foo on at Love Ride
by Russ Allsup

Get ready to rock and roll for a great cause on Sunday, October 18th at Caustic Lake with THE double bill of the year- The Foo Fighters (who will be joined by a line-up of very special guests curated for this event) and Social Distortion, at the 32nd annual Love Ride. What is the Love Ride? The Love Ride is the largest and longest running one-day motorcycle charity event in the world. As Love Ride enters its 32nd and final year in raising funds for those less fortunate, we hope to raise a substantial amount of awareness and funds for the Wounded Warrior Project (WWP) adding to the 24 million raised during its rich history.

Accompanied by celebrity support, thousands of motorcycles will ride from Glendale to Castaic Lake for a blowout concert, motorcycle trade show, motorcycle stunts, custom motorcycle show, a variety of gourmet food trucks and more. For those who do not know where Castaic Lake is, it’s JUST PAST MAGIC MOUNTAIN. You don’t have to ride a motorcycle to attend- everybody is welcome to attend this special event!

You can register now online at www.loveride.org until midnight, Friday October 16th for $45 per person. After midnight registration is $60 per person and can be done the day of the event in Glendale starting at 6am (until 10am) or you can register at Castaic, the day of the event for $60 per person, from 8am until noon. For those wishing to attend the concert only at Caustic Lake may do so at www.loveride.org. Children under 12 accompanied by an adult can get in for free.
