By Monica Barber

It is prime season for making plans that involve getting out into the community, celebrating fall harvests, enjoying all things Halloween, and welcoming that little drop in temperature. Ms. M may not feel the chill this morning, but she feels the goosebumps on her arm while listening to her latest Stephen King audiobook. As she grabs a quick coffee at the newly opened Penny University in Downtown Modesto, she realizes that saving for the upcoming holidays doesn’t mean comprising on the fun of the current one. Here are a few fun bargains to keep your month golden!
