Even here in California, there are issues up and down the ballot that will make a big difference. The local elections like school board play a big role in your daily lives and the lives of our kids so they can read, learn, think and be informed citizens who understand the world. Voting is the way we preserve our democracy and keep this great American system going,
Do not wait until the last few days and mail in your ballot as soon as you get it. If it gets close to election day, please deposit your ballot at the Voters Office on 11th and I Street in Modesto.
Make sure that you are registered and that your voting information is correct.
