Graffiti View – We Are Building!

Graffiti Museum is Building
Modesto Annual Graffiti Summer has been moved to August when we can all gather again. But in the meantime, we are building a Graffiti Museum. The building is now ready to start outfitting. We have new plumbing, new electrical, we have new fast internet and many of the walls have been power washed, taped and prepped for new paint and even some new murals that are in the works. We had great visits with US Rep Josh Harder, State Rep Adam Gray and Stanislaus County Board of Supervisors, Mani Grewal and Buck Condit and others.

Did you know?
Dozens of Local businesses have donated their valuable labor and supplies to help build the Graffiti USA Museum. Thank you so much to Board Member Ron Pippin of Pippin Investments LLC and the members of the Valley Business Exchange who have been cutting, chopping, welding, digging and so much more to bring this museum to life. Over $450,000 of in-kind services have been provided and this means the world to us.

In addition to the businesses we listed last month, we want to thank the Ross Carroll company for the paving and grading work and the George Reed company for the asphalt to help get our parking lot opened up and ready for the big tasks ahead! It looks great and we are pretty excited.

Donations
We need your donations, you can do it monthly, annually and we have some great donation gifts that will make you feel like the coolest cat in town. We are also talking big donations, like building naming donations. We now have a new recurring monthly donation option to make it easier.

Naming Opportunities
If you want to recognize one of your family with a wing, or an exhibit room, we can do that.

Build 10th Street
Inside our museum, we will be creating a newly imagined “10th Street”. You can create or sponsor one of the businesses along the street. For example, my family is putting in a record store, Murphy’s Records, it will be a real record store. We are working with the Modesto Radio Museum to put a radio station inside the museum that will be their museum. There will be a Sanders Appliance Store. You can be a part of this and we want your help to create the magic that will attract people from all over the world.

Help us build it.
If you are a contactor, builder, pipe fitter, welder, carpenter, we need your services. The more things like sprinkler systems, HVAC systems, restrooms and commercial kitchen construction donated or at least at a reduced cost, the faster we can build this museum for all to enjoy. Thank you so much to the Valley Builders Exchange, many members have been working to build the museum and to date have contributed over $450,000 in in kind services. Are you next?

Events
The Graffiti USA Museum has even been hosting events like the Kiwanis Chicken Dinner Drive Through and the the Boy’s and Girl’s Club of Stanislaus Drive Trough dinner. We can even help you host your event as we go into the summer. We have 40,000 sq ft and a great parking lot.
