ModestoView News Letter

ModestoView Weekly Greeting

Greetings Modesto Friends!

We are on the countdown to a Super Football Weekend.  Well, here in Modesto USA, weekends are always super.  It is commonly known that there are 4 seasons, but there is a 5th, and it is Crab Season.  Fresh Dungeness crab is one of world’s greatest things and we are so lucky to have a lot of crab feeds, that most importantly support our amazing local non-profits. This is seriously the most tasty way to lend a hand and support a great cause.  One of our faves is the Howard Training Center Crab Feed this weekend.

If you haven’t been downtown to check out the new Market lights over 10th St, you need do do this.  Twinkle lights make everything better and a well lit and inviting and safe downtown is key for economic vibrancy.   The ModestoView, Collins Electric and the Sierra Pacific team were happy to be able to create this pretty space on 10th St. Check it out and let us know what you think.

We had a great time at the Modesto Chamber of Commerce Diamond Awards Gala. I was proud to help present the Member of the Year award that we won last year to the team at Grimbleby & Coleman CPAs. It is great to celebrate local businesses, and especially those that give back to our community.   ModestoView is all about the local and we hope that you like our 100% positive message as it is our goal to “Serve Civic Pride Daily”   Thank you for being a part of this and taking the time to read this and share it with your friends. – Enjoy your week, Chris Murphy
