Greetings Friends!
Can you believe it is almost February? It is crazy that is was 50 years ago yesterday that the Beatles gave their last concert on the rooftop of Apple Records. But here we are, ready to roar in to Feb with a whole bunch of good things going on this month. From Chinese New Year, to President’s Day and Valentine’s Day, there is something for everyone.
Something fun you need to do is happening tonight at the State Theatre with Brewmaster, complete with a tasting from many local breweries and a Q&A with the director and a master brewer. So cool. Also this weekend, the Modesto Symphony is bringing back their star soloists from the Youth Symphony and there is even a Onesie Pub Crawl Saturday evening. The ViewCrew enjoyed a cool new bar downtown called Blades and Bottles on 15th St and it has really tasty cocktails and you can even get your hair done. The Grand Opening is Sat evening. Also, do not miss the amazing Howard Training Center Crab Feed Friday and Saturday. This is one of the best of the whole year for a really good cause.
Don’t forget to “Wear Red for Women” tomorrow for Heart Health. Thank you all for making this city so fun to enjoy and be on the lookout for the February issue of ModestoView on the stands tomorrow. It is a really good issue. See you out and about. –
Thanks for reading. Chris Murphy
