ModestoView News Letter

Happy Earth Day and Easter Friends!

What happened this week?  It instantly got warm and we are smack dab in the middle of spring and getting ready for summer.   This should be a gorgeous weekend to start off at the Modesto Certified Farmer’s Market (I get my squeakers & Kelly Farm flowers weekly) and get the family ready for Earth Day in Graceada Park.  This is such a great fun and free event to learn the many ways we can help our planet.  The ViewCrew will be there with some fun coloring projects near the check in.

These are fantastic evenings to be out listing to music on the various patios downtown, and make sure you support our local restaurants that host live music. It makes Modesto so much more exciting and interesting.  This will be a good weekend to ride your bike to the many things to do and save your gas.

Thanks again to all of you that came out to Love Modesto last week. Over 7500 people volunteered for over 100 projects.  This is truly an amazing day in Modesto and let’s remember to love Modesto all year long.    Hope to see you out and about and make sure you say hello.  We want to know what you think about ModestoView and how we can do it better.

Thank you – Chris Murphy

The BigView: Earth Day

By Chris Murphy

Green Planet & Earth Day
We may have a lot of cars, many shoes and some people have two or three houses, but we only have one planet. There is no plan B, other place to be so that means we really have to take care of what we have, and treat our earth as if it is the only one we have, because it is. There is something that every single person can do to make a positive difference to our environment. Read More

MAMAView: Spring Cleaning

By Middagh Goodwin

It is officially Spring and time to do some proverbial  “spring cleaning”. Go through your merch and see what needs to be replenished or replaced with something fresh. Make plans to record a new song or go out and shoot a new video, even if it is just an excellent multi-camera live performance. Take a new promo picture and update your EPK, Facebook, Plink or Reverbnation page. Read More
