ModestoView Weekly Greeting

In the words of the legendary Big Bopper, Heellllllooooo BABY!

It is game on for Graffiti Summer!  Wow, what a weekend of cool cars and the movie that started it all, American Graffiti.

This week is loaded with fun things to do.  Mid Valley Chevy Car shows Monday – Thursday,  Historic Cruise Route Legends of the Cruise Walk of Fame ceremonies are Wednesday evening in 10th St Plaza at 6:30 as part of the Mid Valley Car Show. It’s the first week of MoBand Concert in the Part on Thursday and then the big daddy-o show, the American Graffiti Festival presented by North Modesto Kiwanis is Sat & Sun with the world famous cruise parade Friday evening.  This is the time to capture the Graffiti spirit, and get in the groove.  We are the only place in the universe that George Lucas made his movie about and we all need to celebrate and bring our friends.  This is classic Modestocana and our cool history will lead the way to our cool future.

See you out and about.    – Chris
