I hope you had a fantastic Father’s Day Weekend right here smak dab in the middle of Graffiti Summer.  Did you go to see Frankie Valli? It was a great walk down memory lane. Did you enjoy PatioFest?  I know we did!  There were musicians everywhere downtown and we enjoyed food and drink at a variety of locations.   

This week, we need you to help out MoBand Tuesday night.  Night at the Bowl is MoBand’s Annual Fundraiser with Modesto Parks Dept.  There are 6 FREE Concerts in the Park  #CITP because of our sponsors and this annual fundraiser.   15 local restaurants, local wine, local beer and music from Third Party will make this a fun night of music, food, drink and fun.  Please buy tix to these event and support MoBand.   Click here for tix and we hope to see you Tuesday evening.

This weekend, the Graffiti Summer fun continues with Graffiti Con.  You will witness the collision of our Classic Car Culture, Comic Books, Classic Film and of course some Cosplay and some Star Wars. You can meet Carl Gottlieb who wrote the film Jaws, the Jerk, Caveman and more as well as actors who play Darth Vader and so much more.    We are the home of American Graffiti and the clothes, music, art and the fun will all be at GraffitiCon at Modesto Center Plaza on Sunday.   You need to check it out.   But whatever you do, go out and have fun, see a local baseball game, listen to local live music at Music in the Plaza and so much more.   See you out and about.   –  Chris Murphy
