ModestoView News Letter

Greetings Friends!

How about this little cooling spell.  Gotta love it right?

Did you miss August?  It’s almost over so you have a few more days to squeeze in some end of month activities.   This week is action packed as we go into the Labor Day holiday.  Have no fear, we have a great list of things to do and our new September issue is already on the newsstands and online at www.modestoview.com   This week we have magic, comedy, Michael Jackson, Outlaw Hearts, Farmer’s Markets and so much more.  You had better plan your schedule or you might double book yourself.   One highlight is at Bayou this Saturday as E Arenas of the band Chicano Batman will be playing. It will be a fun-filled week and weekend.

Some of you know that I had some heart issues last year and thanks to some really great care, I am running full speed again. This is one of the reasons that I accepted the offer to chair the American Heart Association Heart Walk this year.  The ModestoView and Sierra Pacific crews will be out walking to make a difference and work for cures for heart disease.   If you are able to, please donate to our team and help us reach our goal. http://www2.heart.org/goto/chrismurphy  Any donation is wonderful.

So we wish you a great and safe holiday weekend and hope to see you out and about!   Thanks for being a positive part of Modesto.

Best to all – Chris Murphy
