ModestoView News Letter

Greetings Friends!

Happy September.  Hope you all had a great Labor Day weekend.  I got a lot of stuff done around the house and still had time for friends and family.

This is going to be a tasty rockin’ weekend as it ends with the super fun of the Modesto Symphony Picnic at the Pops with the music of Queen.  We will we will ROCK YOU!

You can’t miss the super tasty Edible Extravaganza at the Modesto Center Plaza to benefit Center for Human Services.  Check the ModestoView Facebook as we will have some ticket giveaways on Wednesday.  Don’t miss this as well as the Assyrian Food Festival this weekend.

There are really interesting things happening, from Mo.DE  get-togethers to poetry readings, Cars and Coffee Sunday morning and a very special FASM Mural project on 10th St that ModestoView is proud to help sponsor.  It will be happening Friday and Saturday so go see 7 very amazing artists at work.

So many cool things going on on top of all of the regular cool stuff like the Modesto Farmer’s Market and the Thursday night Jam at Barking Dog and Live Band Karaoke at Ralston’s goat on Thursday.  You can be a star!

We want our brightest and best back here in Modesto so that we continue our path of vibrancy and innovation. Best of all, it is amazing when we get our young people to come back to town after college or their first jobs somewhere. Read More
