Greetings Friends!
Happy Rocktober! It is time for the coolest and spookiest month of the year. Our new issue is on the streets and in the mailboxes tomorrow Oct 1! It is a really fun issue. The evenings start to get darker and the air is crisp and things just taste better in the fall and so much is happening in our area.
This week, you can actually be a part of the future design of our community. There are open design forums all week long at Greens on 10th. Also, check out the new DoMo walls project in the alleys off 10th with 7 international artists bringing their creations to life, with a final presentation at DoMo First Fridays. ModestoView is proud to be sponsoring this project. Also, if you have good ideas, get down there and sketch it out. Exciting happenings at the State Theatre with a preview of their 85th Anniversary on Wednesday as they build their new “Jewell” mini theatre and get ready for the Le Circque Fundraiser on the 12th. This weekend, grab your bikes for a Saturday am bike tour of the downtown murals, and the International Festival at MJC showcasing our many cultures.
