Greetings Friends!
We are on Hallowe’en countdown. Many of the big parties are this weekend and there are some really creepy, haunted and fun things to do. For the kids, make sure that you take them to the Trunk or Treat in 10th St Plaza on Friday and check out the Boy’s and Girl’s Club Haunted McHenry Museum and mark your calendar for the Morbid Obsession exhibit at the McHenry Mansion early next week. For you fans of Dr. Frank N Furter, do not miss the Rocky Horror Picture show with live stage actors at the State Theatre Friday night for the late night picture show.
This weekend is going to be a hall of fame as we go in with Opera at the Gallo Center, Zydeco at the Eagles Hall, Cedric the Entertainer at the Gallo, Pink Floyd at the State and cool unplugged at the Dragon Fly. You gotta love the variety in our town this pre-Halloween weekend.

While you are out and about, stop by and see my band Third Party as we rock Ralston’s Goat Friday evening and play your fave classic hits. Yeah there will be some Beatles and Petty for sure. Whatever you do, get out and enjoy our community. It is pretty amazing, and I hope to see you out and about.
