Hey Modesto View Readers, This is a message from the Family Justice Center about a way you can lend a hand and truly make a difference.
Hello:
Within a week we are having a gathering of support for one of our clients who left an unsafe relationship with nothing in hand for her unborn baby girl. Our Voices committee (survivors focused on ending domestic violence in our community) and current clients of SFJC are throwing her a little baby shower. We are looking for newborn clothes, diapers, and a portable crib. We have blankets, a diaper bag, stuffed animals, some 6-9 month clothes and some decorations. Do know of anyone who would have any new or lightly used (not the diapers of course, that would be yucky) items to share? Any Gift cards? We need them by Friday.
Also, we have another client with twin 2 year old boys (size 4t, 5t, shoe size 10 & 11, diaper size 5) that really need our communities help. If you have knowledge of these sizes in lightly used items, we would really appreciate you consideration of them also. She has been so very grateful for everything this community has done so far for her (she is from outside the area) but, needs a little help up and has asked for nothing for herself. She is amazing.
Happy New year to you and your families. As always, I thank you for reading this e-mail. You are the BEST! Sincerely,
Cindy Schneider Director of Community Partnerships Stanislaus Family Justice Center 1625 I Street Modesto, CA 95354 209-525-5134 www.stanislausfamilyjustice.org
