Jazz-BluesView: Getting Back to the New Normal

I am back promoting live music in downtown and keeping things rolling for myself, the music and the fans. Vinnie appreciated everything I did and that means a lot. And a shout out to those that have supported me: Chris Murphy, Gary Nelson, John Black, John Griswold, Reg Evans. Without their help, it would be an uphill battle, stay tuned folks!
Spring is in swing and time to bring back some outside shows, Blues Crawl Modesto and increase Blue Monday Party to twice a month at Café Urbano! Your input is always appreciated, so hit me with suggestions.
Cafe Urbano has DJ events with Taco Tuesdays, Thursday through Sunday with dance instruction with Salsa, Cumbia and other Latin idioms. Blue Monday Party Jam Monday, April 4th and 17th. The Band features John Adey & Conrad Johnson bass, Dave Hawks drums, Andrew Rosenblum & John Burt sax, Johnny Valdes guitar and vocals and Eric Benson keys. We play jazz, funk, Latin and the blues. The jam goes from 7-10 PM with a full bar and great food!
If you want to take a road trip to Yoshi’s Oakland best Jazz shows, Khumba Music Center Santa Cruz is great also so get out and make it happen!
We all are trying to get back to the new normal and it is a work in progress. We all need to keep it rolling and do the right thing, get your soul vaccination, and take care of each other and things will continue to improve. This is our world, and we all need to get on with the business of living! We must continue to support our economy and businesses that support the arts.
