Made In Modesto: 2019 a year in photos
By Michael Mangano
Hello, I am a photographer for Modesto view magazine. I have the privilege to record moments in time I think to represent the best in our city. You can say I am a voyeur of our community spirit. Here at the View we always like to look forward, but I do believe we should take a moment and see where we were as to how far we have come together. So another year is in the books! And what a year it was. Modesto saw a lot of action in 2019 from new business opening up downtown, too our own outdoor venue. In 2019 I saw record crowds coming out to celebrate events like parades in the streets or music on our porches and parks; rain or shine I saw a lot of community pride. Oh, we are not a perfect city I know we still have a ways to go, but I do think we have a lot of people out there who care about our city and for that I know we have a brighter future ahead. I look forward to 2020 and hold pride to say I’m “Made in Modesto”. Here are some great moments of 2019.
