So much fun packed into one shopping center! The Taste of McHenry Village was full of wine, snacks, and other extravagances scattered in storefronts and parking lots, as the spotlights beaconed McHenry Village as the temporary heart of Modesto.
Four musical acts dotted the parking lots, including the Funstrummers Ukulele Band, the Sensations, and Homegrown, bringing event-goers music at every turn.
Classic cars lined the parking stalls for people to gaze at, and a treasure hunt kept people moving from store to store in search for another stamp on their list.
Wine tasting was everywhere, even stores you wouldn’t have expected. The main wine tasting tent also featured an art gallery from Peer Recovery Art Program, a non-profit organization whose mission statement is to revitalize the downtown area and to create a healthier community.
McHenry Village customers were thoroughly showered with gratitude for their patronage. We’ll be there next year, and we hope to see you there too.
