Yes SKA friends, it is really happening. Those of you who love Ghost town and other Specials songs, this is a big night. Something truly special is coming to the Brewhouse on November 7 as part of their Rockabilly Cruise Nights. Roddy Radiation’s Skabilly Rebels (featuring Lynval Golding for this west coast run.) Roddy and Lynval played guitar and did vocals for The Specials, the band that coined the term Two Tone and had seven UK Top 10 singles, many of which they will be performing when they play in Modesto. The Skabilly Rebels as the name infers perform a mix of SKA and Rockabilly so put on your dancing shoes and get ready to feel the beat. One of California’s biggest names in Rockabilly, The Chop Tops will be returning and are sure not to disappoint. They have been performing all over the US for 18 years and just completed their 13th full US Tour. Opening for the night is Modesto’s own SKAPunk originals Before Twenty. B420 are honored to join this lineup and play with members of the Specials a band that had such a great impact on the music they love and as musicians.
