Mod Shop- Indie Crafters’ Market Downtown

Welcome “Mod Shop!” Modesto’s One-Day Downtown Craft Bazaar

Those looking for something different when it comes to holiday shopping will find their fill Thanksgiving weekend in downtown Modesto at the first ever “Mod Shop.” Like its innovative predecessor, Hand Born, Mod Shop Indie Crafters Market will feature a variety of independent artists offering original holiday shopping ideas & handcrafted goods created by 30+ unique vendors. For the hip and handsome to the wholesome homebody looking to buy local, there is guaranteed to be something for everyone at Mod Shop.

From holiday décor to children’s clothing, shoppers will enjoy an incredible showcase of unique vendors on display this year. From Grouse and Badger’s upcycled and repurposed jewelry to Hiral Henna’s body art and make up. Cosmic Bath and Beauty’s handmade soaps, lotions, makeup and masks to Mama Cow’s adorably designed clothing for your fashion forward tots. Vintage goods will be sold as well.

Sweet treats will be plentifully served out of a big, pink van thanks to The Cupcake Lady. Other festivities include live music by local favorites like Francesca Bavarro and live spray can painting by Modesto Muralist, Aaron Vickery “Fasm.” This street fair style indoor/outdoor event will be located in downtown Modesto on J st. between 12th and 13th. Vendors will be stationed at five locations; Mira Bridal, Deva, Concetta, Core Fitness and Peer Recovery Art Project all within the same downtown block.
