One of my favorite times of the year is when we get the line up for ModStock. These are the bands that come out of our local “School of Rock” VMI Music, lead by Darin Morris. The band names are great and it is so good to see this crop of new rockers and schredders. The annual summer season’s festival is ready to rock Graceada Park’s Mancini Bowl on August 12 beginning at 9:30 am
It is going to be great to have the amazing Shirlee Temper and her fantastic band at this year‘s Modstock. She will be headlining a lineup of 35 Valley music institute bands, providing the music for the all-day, Earth day/Woodstock/Rock ‘n’ roll circus peace love and music family event. There will be vendors to provide food and arts and crafts and clothing as well as a bouncy house. Please go out and support Modesto’s newest rockers along with a great headliner. They are bringing their biggest sound system with cool digital gear. It’s going to be a great way to end your summer.
