Nor-Cal Cosie Weekend at the Westside Theatre in Newman, on January 9th was a great success raising $1,425.00 for Haven’s Women Center of Stanislaus Co, to be presented by the City of Newman.
The NorCal Cosies, a promotional event for Modesto-Con, held a Mini Con (Cosie Con) during the day that had nearly 650 people in attendance over the 5 hours.
The Nor-Cal Cosies kicked off at 6pm sharp, with 10 categories each with 3 contestants, with a capacity crowd who were also the judges. The only trouble anyone had was in choosing who the winners would be.
Carrie Shea and Nick Silva kept the night flowing, and the crowd entertained, along with special dance performances by Spotlight Dance Company.
